Man journey has helped me understand that we were created for so much more, and life is so short that we must hold on to our journey and use it to show others how God loves us in the good and the bad. We are more than mere survivors, rather we are overcomers through God's mercy and grace. I've learned we all have a personal story. After living a life full of drug addiction, selfishness, close mindedness, and always chasing the next quick feel good, I was always lead back to feeling empty, alone, depressed, and hopeless. The idealism of ManJourney has showed me we are all the same, we have people problems, we have hangups, habits, and hurts, known as sin in our lives. After walking with my best friend, Todd, for over 25 years now, the Lord has used him as a reflector to show me blind areas and the unhealthy habits I had let myself fall into. Realizing It takes more than yourself to grow spiritually, I've learned we were made to be in healthy relationships. We were made to hold each other's burdens. Everyone's soul needs our friend, Jesus! Through  the help of others and ManJourney, I have a brand new start. I am now at 17 months, clean from drug addiction. I have a hope and a plan now, that is seek to the kingdom of God every day, forgetting those things of my past, and moving forward to those things to come. Knowing God loves me makes me love myself again, so I can effectively love others. Thank you Man Journey for all the support, love and compassion. Thank you, Todd.

I first meet Todd in March of 2022. He was on a mission trip with AOK Bikers Fellowship, and they joined us for service to inspire, and encourage men of God. Todd instantly became my friend, and since that day, he has impacted my life. Through ManJourney, he has supported the street ministry that God has called me to and he allows God to use Him without questioning. Manjourney provided us chairs, sound equipment, tables and a trailer to haul it in every week. He is a mentor to all he encounters, he is God lead, which is evident from the moment of introduction. Man Journey is a great part of GoForth Ministry and we are so thankful for Todd's heart that makes serving the streets of Biloxi, MS possible.

In 2021, I had the privilege of joining one of Todd's  ManJourney trips "A fan for the day". We road tripped to a huge college football rivalry game, and it was far more than just a fun day out—it was a meaningful experience of fellowship, connection, and faith. Todd has created something truly special with ManJourney. It’s not just about events or activities; it’s about bringing men together in an environment that encourages authenticity, support, and spiritual growth.

The conversations, the camaraderie, and the Christ-centered focus made a lasting impression on me. I left that trip feeling refreshed, encouraged, and inspired to be more intentional in my walk with God and in my relationships with other men. I’m grateful for what Todd is doing through ManJourney and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for real connection and purpose-driven brotherhood.

Todd started off as a neighbor, then became a close friend that has now become family. I've experienced first hand his desire to give, love, and serve people right where they are. His loyalty and counsel have helped me through really tough times, and he is always there when needed. His talent to understand people and situations and break them down, so you can understand them yourself, and then have a different perspective, is amazing. I definitely cherish the person I now call my family. Over the years, I've watched ManJourney come to life and have watched closely how the Lord has blessed Todd abundantly. He continues to seek, continues to grow, and continues to empowers those around him to be full in their faith. Todd would admit that he is not perfect, but I would admit he is aligned with God's calling, and walks out the grace in which God has given him...

"The Lord asked if I was ready to listen to Him". It was during the quietness + stillness of my brokeness, I felt the call of God begin mending things in my life, things l didn't realize l needed help with. Things like Full dependency on Him and not other relationships. Things in life, like peace, and surrender of control.

Jesus is continually changing my life. I admit, it is still hard not being a control Freak.

But through growing in hope and trust in Him,

I’ve learned to surrender my relationships, finances, and my work, to Him. I struggle giving my time, I confess, but when I do, l see His work in my life. He has changed my views on others and has softened my heart to love and share His peace by using my time and presence in others lives"

ManJourney isn’t a group—it’s a mirror. It helps me take an honest look at who I am, why I’m here, and where I’m headed. It’s not about programs or checklists; it’s about living with purpose, knowing God more deeply, and walking with other men who are trying to do the same. ManJourney reminds me that I don’t have to figure life out alone, and that real strength comes from surrender, brotherhood, and intentional living.

Lets face it, men sometimes are taught to be loners. Face burdens alone. Find strength from  within ourselves. Live and hide from struggle. However, the philosophy of ManJourney draws men into a deep relational connection. Through tough conversation, by showing up in honesty, and learning to become vulnerable ourseves, we come to know, hiding isn’t an option.

You see, we often falter because there’s no one to say, “I struggle too, and it’s ok to be messy, knowing we are all messy”.

We are men, fathers, sons, and siblings, and also brothers in the Lord. Our responsibilties are great, so we intentially have act like it. As scripture teachers, we are also called to be "our brothers keeper".

Life is a precious and valubale. Lets be about our Journey! ManJourney.

We all need friends to encourage, inspire, challenge and love us. This is what ManJouney does so well!

I have experienced friendships, acceptance, kindness, fun and unexpected opportunities to love on and bless others through this amazing ministry.

As we look for alignment of ministry philosophy in those God brings across our path, we can indeed accomplish more together. When we truly believe that “iron sharpens iron”, we realize we really do need each other.

Advance Global Coaching has been asked to coach men that ManJourney refers our way. This is possible because Todd Hughes has prayed for and invested his time and resources into Advance Global Coaching. Truly, we are better together! May God bless ManJourney beyond all we can ask or think.
